About

Sara Brion is a Belgian neurodivergent thinker with an ADHD diagnosis, a parent, and an advocate for more humane systems in education and care. She is currently in training as a socio-cultural worker and as a clinical psychologist. Her work is deeply shaped by lived experience, both her own and that of her neurodivergent daughter, with whom she is co-authoring her first book. This project centres children’s voices and explores how neurodiversity is experienced from the inside, rather than interpreted solely through professional frameworks.

Alongside this book, Sara is working on several other writing projects that address neurodiversity, mental health, and inclusion at the level of schools, families, work, and policy. She is particularly interested in how language, expectations, and institutional structures can either support or silently exclude neurodivergent people. Through writing, public speaking, and policy-oriented work, she aims to translate complex realities into practical, ethical, and equitable approaches that do not rely on privilege or constant self-advocacy.
